Little did Maggie know when she woke up that this was going to be a day that changed her life forever. While waiting for her sister’s visit, Maggie gets embroiled in a web of terror as she is targeted by one of the most evil men after she witnesses one of his crimes. As the killer tries to find her, she turns to a handsome detective and a well-known news reporter for help. Maggie has already had a terrible loss in her life, and she will not let the killer destroy her happiness, or take the lives of those she loves. The book takes the characters on a ride of suspense as the killer follows closely, confident he will be the winner in the end.
Too Late To Run is so wonderfully beguiling that I couldn’t put it down. Maggie Andrews awakes to a day that is anything but average, as she is nearly blown up. Then somehow, along with her sister Alice, Detective Mike Pierce, and Reporter, Reggie Page, she’s drawn into the murderer’s web of terror as he proceeds to hunt them down. The cast of characters in this book are amazingly complex and very well developed, and not just the lead characters. The plot contains loads of twists and turns, and even a little sexual tension. It’s as if Maggie and Alice are real people, in a real situation unfolding before your eyes. Too Late To Run will take you on an exciting, “edge of your seat” thrilling adventure, and all you have to do is open the book. I read the book in less than 24 hours, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good suspense novel. You won’t be disappointed.
